The Monday problem
Orlenby sells packs, blankets and cookware to people who would rather be outside. Its content team of six runs email, the blog, social, paid social and the screens in nine stores. Until this spring, every campaign started with a document, moved through four inboxes and ended with someone resizing banners late on a Thursday.
"Monday was approvals day," says Freja Lund, Head of Content. "We would spend it finding out which version legal had seen, then send everything back out again."
One brief, every channel
The team now writes one structured brief per launch. Veldstack drafts the email, posts, banners and store loops in the sizes each channel needs, and scores every draft against Orlenby's voice guide before a person reads it. Reviewers comment on the asset itself, and legal's edits land as suggestions the writer can accept in one click.
"The brief is the only document we write now. Everything else is a draft we can say yes or no to."
What changed
4xmore launches per quarter, with the same team
62%less time between first draft and final approval
11channels scheduled from one calendar
The Autumn Field Kit, Orlenby's largest launch of the year, went from brief to scheduled in nine working days. Paid social shipped on a Friday instead of a Tuesday after legal asked for a change, and nobody had to stay late to make it happen.
What is next
Orlenby is moving its store screens and press room into the same calendar this winter, and plans to connect its own model keys for product descriptions.
