Let's buildyours
Tell me what you are making and when it needs to exist. I reply within one working day with a yes, a no or a question.
Servicesand prices
Nine things I do well, each with a starting price and the plan it usually sits in. If you need two of them, they share one scope and one invoice.
Need twoof them?
Combined work gets one scope, one price and one calendar. Tell me what you have in mind.
Pricingplan
Three plans with fixed prices. You sign a one-page scope before any design starts, pay half to book the slot and half at handover.

Anything else, ask on the intro call. It is free and takes twenty minutes.
Selectedwork
Six projects from the last three years: apps, websites and one large product. Each page shows the problem, the decisions and the screens.

Hello, I'mSam
I design and build websites and product interfaces for founders and small teams. Eleven years in, I still like the moment a messy brief becomes one clear screen.
Before going independent in 2021 I led design at a payments company and spent four years at a studio making sites for publishers. I work alone on purpose: you talk to the person doing the work, and I take two projects at a time so replies stay fast.
The studio is a small room in Port Halden with a good window. Clients are mostly in Europe and the US east coast.
How Iwork
- 01
Words before pixels
I write the page or the flow in plain text first. If it does not make sense as text, no layout will save it.
- 02
Small, finished pieces
You see working designs every week, not a big reveal at the end. Feedback lands while it is still cheap to act on.
- 03
Systems you can keep
Every project leaves behind named components and a short guide, so the next page does not need me.

Processin five steps
The same five steps for every plan. Each one ends with something you can look at and a clear note of what I need from you next.
A Studioproject, week by week
Six weeks from signed scope to handover. Reviews are fixed on Thursdays, so you can plan around them.
Step oneis a call
Twenty minutes, no preparation. You leave with a yes, a no or the plan that fits.
Start aproject
A short brief is enough. I read every one and reply within one working day with a yes, a no or a question.
Thanks, there. Brief received.
In a live site this would land in my inbox. In this demo nothing was sent, but here is what you wrote:
Termsof engagement
The plain-language rules behind every plan. The signed scope for your project always wins where the two differ. Last updated 14 September 2026.
01Scope and price
Every project starts with a one-page scope: what is included, what is not, the dates and the fixed price. Work outside the scope is quoted in writing first, and you decide before it starts.
02Payment
Sprint and Studio are paid in two parts.
- Half when the scope is signed. This books your slot in the calendar.
- Half at handover, before the final files are transferred.
- Retainer is billed monthly in advance, or quarterly at the reduced rate.
- Invoices are due within fourteen days.
03Revisions
Each plan includes a set number of review rounds. A round is one consolidated document of feedback from you, answered with one revised version from me. Small fixes outside a round are fine and are not counted.
04Timing and delays
Dates assume feedback within two working days. If feedback is late, the schedule moves by the same number of days. If I am late, the next payment is reduced by five percent for each working day.
05Ownership
When the final payment clears, you own the designs, the code and the source files outright. I may show the finished work in my portfolio unless we agree otherwise in the scope.
06Cancelling
You can stop a project at any time. You pay for the work done to that point, pro rata, and receive every file made so far. Retainers need fourteen days notice.
07Privacy
This site sets no tracking cookies. Briefs you send are used only to reply to you and are deleted after twelve months if no project follows.
