Independent minds. Shared ambition.
Good ideas. Great company.
Brands with a voice. Websites with character.
Recent clients, all independent
Small studio, big on the details. We’re four people who make brands and websites for independents that would rather be remembered than polite.

Four ways to work with us.
Start with one or bring us in for the lot. Every project has a fixed scope and price, agreed in writing before we begin.
A few things we’ve made.

A typical identity and website project runs fourteen weeks. Here’s what happens at each step, and what we’ll need from you.
Nice things people say.

Work with a point of view.
Six recent identities and websites for cafés, hotels, makers, galleries and labels. Each one started with a business that knew what it stood for and wanted to say it louder.
No projects match that.
Try a different word, or clear the filters to see all six projects. We’re happy to send sector-specific examples too.
Five kinds of business we know well.
Most of our clients sell something you can touch, taste or walk into. That’s where an identity has the most work to do, and where we’ve learned the most.
Built around what you need.
Four services that stand on their own or work together. Each has a clear scope, a fixed price and a handover you can actually use.
How every engagement works.
Scope it together
A free 30-minute call, then a one-page scope with the price, the dates and what you’ll get. Nothing starts until you’ve signed it.
Make it in the open
A shared board with the work in progress, a short update every Friday and two review rounds at each stage.
Hand it over properly
Organised source files, a plain-English guide and a recorded walkthrough, so your team can run with it.
Good work. No mystery.
The same four steps on every project, at every size. You always know what’s happening this week, what’s next and what we need from you.
A typical project, week by week.
An identity and a website for a single-site business. Smaller projects skip steps, never squash them.
What we promise
- A written scope and price before any work starts
- A short update every Friday, even when it’s a quiet week
- The same two or three people from kickoff to launch
- Every file handed over in a format your team can open
What we ask of you
- One person who can make the final call
- Feedback within five working days of each review
- Final copy and photography before the website build
- Honesty when something doesn’t feel right
A clear scope. A straight price.
Fixed prices for projects, a monthly rate for ongoing work. All prices in GBP, excluding VAT. Your final scope and price are agreed in writing first.
Payments: 40% to book, 30% at the midpoint, 30% at handover. Monthly plans run month to month with 30 days’ notice.
Build a rough estimate.
Tick what you need and see a working range. Send it to us and we’ll come back with a proper scope within one working day.

Nice people. Serious about the work.
Loudish is a four-person brand and web studio in Bristol. We opened in 2016 to work with the kind of businesses we love to visit: the café with the queue, the hotel with twelve rooms, the label that repairs what it sells.
What guides the work.
Listen first
The best ideas are usually hiding in how owners describe their business on a good day. We spend the first two weeks writing those words down.
Draw on real things
We judge a logo on a coffee cup, a key tag and a phone screen, never on a white slide. If it doesn’t work small, it doesn’t work.
Leave it usable
A brand you can’t update without us isn’t finished. Every handover includes templates, a guide and an hour of training.
The four of us.
Small on purpose. The people you meet at kickoff are the people who make the work.
Come by for a coffee.

We hire rarely and slowly. If you’d like to be considered when we do, send a few projects and a note about what you’d like to make to hello@loudish.studio.
Notes from the studio.
Short, practical writing about brands, briefs and websites, from the people who make them. A new note most months.
No notes on that yet.
Try another word or topic. If it’s a question you’d like answered, ask us and it might become the next note.
Questions, answered.
The things people usually ask on the first call. If yours isn’t here, send it over.
We haven’t answered that one yet.
Ask us directly and you’ll get a reply from a real person within one working day.
Ask a questionGood things start with a conversation.
