Wild stories

Begin with
a world

A story can start with a current, a shadow or a place to cross. Watch the surroundings before deciding what the character should do.

Original fox on a mossy fantasy bridge above a green valley

Let the place speak

Give the viewer a landscape to read. Distance, scale and a path through the frame can suggest what matters.

Original grey hare in green grass on black

A small presence

Let a pause reveal the character. A turned ear, a still body or a look beyond the frame can carry the moment.

A story
in fragments

Wild stories
Original fox by misty stone arches
Original otter and hare in a fern clearing
Original fox silhouette in a golden dawn forest
Original kingfisher above a dark river
Original hare on moonlit stone stairs

Place one image beside another. Notice what the gap asks the viewer to imagine.

Change the scale, light or distance. Keep a thread the eye can follow.

Six prompts. One scene.

Beyond
the river

A new distance.
A different route.
The next part of the story.

A moment

Hold the frame a little longer.
Let the viewer discover the detail
that made you stop.

A world
in motion

The environment can change before the character does. Let weather, water and light move the scene forward.

Build a small sequence

01

Watch

Choose one change in the surrounding world.

02

Frame

Show a wide view, then a telling detail.

03

Sequence

Let one image make the next image meaningful.

Let a detail carry the scene

Original dew-covered fern macro

A beginning

A shape slowly opens.

Original fox paw and river ripples

A touch

One action changes the surface.

Original kingfisher feather and river flowers
