Dunmere opened on SE Alder Street in 2016 with one shelf of food, a bin of leads and a golden retriever named Biscuit asleep by the till. Ten years on, the shelves are longer and Biscuit is greyer. The idea has not changed: stock fewer things, and know every one of them well.

What earns a place on our shelves
A new product spends at least a month in the shop before it goes online. Most do not make it. The ones that do pass four plain tests.
Reviewed by a vet nurse
Ingredients, materials and instructions are checked by Priya, our registered vet nurse.

Orders placed by 2 pm Pacific on a working day are packed the same afternoon. Here is what happens next, and what to do if something does not fit.

We text when it is packed. Collect from the counter during opening hours within seven days.
The 30-day fit promise
Harnesses, coats, beds and carriers can be swapped for another size within 30 days, even if they have been tried on. We pay the postage both ways for size swaps.
Opened food and shampoo cannot be returned for hygiene reasons. If your pet will not eat a recipe, tell us and we will help find one they will.

Your name, delivery address, email and phone number when you order; your pet's name, size and food preferences if you choose to tell us; and the products you buy so we can set up refills.
How we use it
To pack and deliver orders, send delivery texts, remind you three days before a refill is packed and answer your questions. We send the newsletter only if you subscribe, and every issue has a one-click unsubscribe.
Who we share it with
- Our delivery carriers, who receive your name, address and phone number.
- Our payment provider, who processes card details directly. We never see or store full card numbers.
- No one else. We do not sell or rent customer information.
Your choices
You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it or have it deleted by writing to hello@dunmerepet.com. We reply within 30 days.
Terms of sale
The agreement between you and Dunmere Pet Supply when you place an order. Written to be read, not skimmed.
Orders and prices
Prices are in US dollars and include packaging. Delivery charges are shown before you pay. Oregon has no sales tax; for other states, tax is calculated at checkout where required.
Refills
A refill is a repeat order at 10% off the listed price. We email three days before packing. You can skip, move or cancel up to two days before the packing date at no cost.
Returns
Unused items can be returned within 30 days. Harnesses, coats, beds and carriers can be swapped for another size within 30 days even if tried on. Opened food and shampoo are not returnable.
Product care
Follow the care notes on each product page. Supervise play with toys and replace them when they show wear. Our vet nurse's guidance is general and does not replace advice from your own vet.
